When you are craving sweet and sour chicken, this is a perfect substitute!
Yield: 3-4 servings
Ingredients
- 1 batch Unflavored Soy Curls
- 1 recipe Sweet and Sour Sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. For easy cleanup, set aside a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Pour a generous scoop of the Sweet and Sour Sauce over the soy curls. Toss to mix until soy curls are well coated, adding more sauce as needed.
- Spread soy curls onto baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, turning a few times for uniform caramelizing. As needed, return soy curls to oven taking care to not let them dry out or burn. Alternatively, these can be done in small batches in an Air Fryer. Set temperature to 400°F and allow 7-10 minutes or until caramelized to your liking.
- Remove the soy curls from the oven and drizzle a bit more sauce over them. Toss to mix.
- Serve with rice and/or stir-fry vegetables.
