Bread, Cheese, Meat... Healthier Food Transitions

Bread

Transitioning with substitutes for your favourite comfort foods will ensure you stay on track, enjoy your meals and have fun experimenting with new recipes.

Breads are a comfort food for most people. Unfortunately most are highly refined and have low nutrient value. Be choosy. Look for breads that are low in fat and high in fiber. Whole grain, multi grain and sprouted grain breads are best. Be sure to check out the ingredient label and you will find several wholesome breads that are rich in fiber and contain no added oil.

I provided a few links to get you started.
