BBQ Beans (crockpot)

Canned beans are convenient, but cooking beans in a crockpot is super easy. If you haven’t cooked dried beans before, don’t let it intimidate you. This method is an effortless hands-off process with a wonderful payoff of delicious saucy beans, which are also freezer friendly.

Blue Ribbon Chili

This was one of my first chili recipes with out meat. Years later it’s still one of our family favorite chili’s. It also freezes well.

Lasagna

This is a tasty version to traditional lasagna. When making lasagna, we can keep it relatively simple with noodles, sauce and cheese. Have fun with this. Once the prep is done, the assembly is relatively quick.

Super Simple! Cowboy Caviar is a different twist to a bean salad. It’s easy to make, colorful and can be enjoyed year ’round. Serve as a side or as a meal. It’s a definite crowd pleaser.

Sautéed Mushrooms

These mushrooms are paired with fresh garlic and dark balsamic vinegar.

Steamed Spinach

Simply prepared, spinach is a great food to add extra nutrients to soups, casseroles, lasagna, and dips.
