Ingredients
- ½ cup millet, washed and drained
- 2 cups water
- ½ cup cashews
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Combine the millet and water and cook until the millet is very soft. Learn more about millet and how to cook. For creamy results use a powerful blender like a VitaMix.
- Add the hot cooked millet to a blender* along with the cashews, maple syrup and vanilla.
- This sauce will thicken when cooled. If you are not planning to use it right away, then when blending add about ½ cup of water and adjust the sweetness with another tablespoon or two maple syrup.
