This is a very healthy version to homemade jam!
Yield: 1 cup
Ingredients
- 1 cup frozen strawberries*, thawed and chopped small
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp cane sugar, or to taste
- 1 Tbsp chia seeds
- 2 tsp psyllium
Instructions
- Toss strawberries and lemon juice together.
- Mix sugar, chia seeds, and psyllium husk together, then sprinkle over berries. Mix well to incorporate. Cover and put in fridge overnight.
- Use as a spread or mix into a plant based yogurt or this homemade Soy Yogurt.
- Use within 4 to 5 days.
Notes
- Use other juicey berries, like raspberries.
