Turkey Flavored Gravy

Yield: 2 cups


  • 2 cups water
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp poultry seasoning
  • 3 to 4 Tbsp brown rice flour
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp tahini, optional


  1. Add water, soy sauce, nutritional yeast, onion and garlic powder and poultry seasoning, to a saucepan and bring to boil.
  2. When mixture is beginning to simmer, start whisking in the rice flour and allow gravy to come to a boil. 
  3. If desired, whisk in tahini.


  • This gravy will thicken after 5-10 minutes. Add a little water to achieve desired consistency.
  • This gravy freezes well. It may separate, but simply give it a quick whisk and it’ll be like fresh made.
