Making your own taco seasoning is flavorful, easy and convenient while allowing you to control the sodium.
Yield: about ¾ cup
- 6 Tbsp minced dried onion
- 4 Tbsp chili powder
- 1 Tbsp ground cumin
- 1 Tbsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp oregano
- Mix all ingredients together and store in an airtight container.
- Use 1½ tablespoons Taco Seasoning along with ½ cup water to every 454 grams/one pound veggie meat. Mix well and simmer.
- Make taco meat with Better Burger or for a gluten free version use Cauliflower Crumbles.
