This simple cheese is blended then poured into the lasagna and it thickens as while lasagna bakes.
Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 2 Tbsp rolled oats
- 2 Tbsp arrowroot powder
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- ¼ cup nutritional yeast
- 2 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 2-3 Tbsp tahini
- ½ tsp salt
Instructions
- Put everything in a blender, blend until smooth and set aside.
- Use in lasagna recipe as a cheese substitute. When ready to assemble the layers, drizzle about one third of the cheese sauce on the bottom layer, middle layer and top layer.
- The cheese sauce will thicken while it bakes.
